Wayne C. Heavener

Wayne C. Heavener is an associate attorney at Skidmore & Alderson, PA, where he is engaged in contract negotiation and disputes, real estate transactions, civil litigation, and criminal defense work.

Mr. Heavener is a Cumberland native. Mr. Heavener attended the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, during which time he served on the Maryland Law Review and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Robert M. Bell of the Maryland Court of Appeals. Graduating with honors, Mr. Heavener was in the top ten percent of his graduating class, and a member of the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barrister. Following graduation, Mr. Heavener practiced law at a large Baltimore law firm as a member of the firm’s litigation department.
